Repeat Prescriptions

Patients who require regular medication can obtain a repeat prescription without seeing their doctor.

• Hand in the repeat prescription re-order form into the practice. Providing it is received before 4.30pm in Tullibody and 5.00pm in Alva, the prescription will be ready for collection after 2pm on the next working day. There is a post box in both reception areas so you don’t need to wait at the desk.
• The form can also be posted to the surgery with a stamped, addressed envelope for its return. Obviously, this will take a little longer to process due to it having to go via the post.
• Requests for repeat medication can also be made by using the online form. A link to the online form can be found at the bottom of this page.
• Many of the local chemists are now offering an ordering and collection service for repeat prescriptions. Contact your chemist for information on this.

Medication that is not on your repeat prescription will take up to 48 hours to be processed.
