Home Visits

homevisitsIf your illness prevents you from leaving home, a home visit can be arranged by telephoning between 8.30 and 10.00am.

Except in an emergency, requests for visits should be made before 10.00am.  Non-urgent visits, requested after this time may not be made until the next day.

The staff will ask you for information to allow the doctor to assess the urgency of the call.

Remember – the doctor can see 4 patients in the surgery in the time it takes to visit you at home. Help them to help you by reserving requests for house calls for when you really need them.

Late Calls

After 10.00am, home visits are only made for genuinely urgent calls.
